AI/MLOps Engineer

Role Overview

The client is seeking a remote AI/MLOps Engineer to support AI-driven initiatives within an ITSM environment. The role focuses on building solutions around existing, pre-built models, enabling agents, automation, and data-driven proactive insights to help identify patterns and potential incidents/issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt engineering and prompt governance, ensuring output consistency and addressing bias and hallucinations
• Build and deploy agents/bots/automation workflows for routine operational tasks
• Work with existing provided models and apply them to relevant use cases
• Extract data via APIs from multiple systems and platforms
• Scrape, synthesize, and normalize data across systems
• Analyze data across systems to identify correlations within specific timeframes
• Produce concise outputs, including reports and notifications based on insights
• Build or support interactive dashboards for operational visibility
• Develop solutions to detect patterns across multiple data points
• Help predict likely issues, referencing previous incidents and resolutions
• Implement fail-safes and validation when model outputs are inaccurate/unreliable
• Support analytics use cases and compute metrics such as:
  • MTTR
  • Detection time

Requirements

• Experience with prompt engineering, including managing hallucinations, bias, and consistency
• Development experience building agents, bots, and automation solutions
• Strong experience with APIs and data extraction across platforms
• Experience with data scraping, normalization, and synthesis
• Ability to analyze and correlate data across multiple sources
• Python experience
• Familiarity with statistical analysis libraries such as NumPy
• Experience working with or supporting an ITSM model, including:
  • Incident management
  • Problem management
  • Root cause analysis
