About the role
Role Overview
Join YO IT Consulting as an AI/ML Engineer to deliver mission-critical government initiatives and contribute to proprietary AI infrastructure. You will build secure, scalable machine learning systems using LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models with a focus on LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering for production applications.
- Develop and orchestrate multi-agent systems using LangGraph and LangChain.
- Integrate and deploy AI solutions in secure cloud environments, including:
- AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+
- Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes; create metadata catalogs and ontologies to support high-quality training and inference data.
- Implement REST APIs and SDK integrations to enable seamless interactions between systems, data, and models.
- Partner with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver secure solutions using secure coding and DevOps best practices (including CI/CD).
- Document technical decisions and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, including experience with REST APIs and SDK integration.
- Hands-on production experience with LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration and tool-use using LangGraph / LangChain.
- Strong understanding of secure cloud AI services (AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock).
- Experience building/maintaining data pipelines, ontologies, metadata catalogs, and ETL.
- Knowledge of secure coding and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agentic platforms (e.g., Anthropic for Gov, OpenAI Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, Grok Enterprise).
- Knowledge of metadata catalog platforms (MCP) and advanced API development.
- Prior exposure to government or highly regulated environments and related compliance standards.
