AI/ML Engineer - Remote

Role overview

Join YO IT Consulting as an AI/ML Engineer (Remote, Full-Time) to support mission-critical government initiatives and help build proprietary AI infrastructure. You will develop secure, scalable machine learning systems using LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize production AI/ML solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering
• Develop and orchestrate multi-agent systems using LangGraph and LangChain
• Integrate, deploy, and operate AI solutions on secure cloud environments including:
  • AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock
• Build and maintain data pipelines, including ETL, metadata catalogs, and ontologies for training and inference data quality
• Create and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations for data/model interactions
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams; follow secure coding and DevOps best practices with CI/CD
• Document technical decisions and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Python proficiency for AI/ML development, including experience with REST APIs and SDK integration
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering in production
• Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration and frameworks such as LangGraph/LangChain
• Strong understanding of secure cloud AI services: AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock
• Experience building data pipelines, ETL, ontologies, and metadata catalogs
• Strong secure coding and modern DevOps practices including CI/CD
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with agentic platforms such as Anthropic for Gov, OpenAI Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, or Grok Enterprise
• Knowledge of metadata catalog platforms (MCP) and advanced API development techniques
• Prior exposure to government or other highly regulated cloud/compliance environments
