AI/ML Engineer - Remote

Role Overview

Join YO IT Consulting as an AI/ML Engineer (Full-Time, Remote). You’ll build secure, production-grade machine learning systems for government initiatives, using LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models for production applications, with emphasis on LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Develop and orchestrate multi-agent systems using LangGraph and LangChain.
• Integrate and deploy AI solutions on secure cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock).
• Build and maintain data pipelines, including ETL processes, plus metadata catalogs and ontologies for high-quality training/inference data.
• Create and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations for seamless data/model interactions.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver securely, following secure coding and DevOps best practices (including CI/CD).
• Document technical decisions and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Python proficiency for AI/ML development, including REST API and SDK integration experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG systems, and prompt engineering in production.
• Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration, tool use, and LangGraph/LangChain.
• Deep understanding of secure cloud AI services: AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with data pipelines, ontologies, metadata catalogs, and ETL.
• Strong grasp of secure coding and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic platforms (e.g., Anthropic for Gov, OpenAI Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, Grok Enterprise).
• Knowledge of metadata catalog platforms (MCP) and advanced API techniques.
• Prior exposure to government or highly regulated environments and compliance standards.
