AI/ML Engineer (Remote)

Join YO IT Consulting to support mission-critical government initiatives and build proprietary AI infrastructure. You will design and deploy secure AI/ML systems leveraging LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models for production, especially using LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Build and orchestrate multi-agent systems using LangGraph and LangChain.
• Integrate and deploy AI solutions to secure cloud environments, including:
  • AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+
  • Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock
• Create and maintain data pipelines, including ETL, and build metadata catalogs and ontologies to support training and inference.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations for data/model interaction.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams; follow secure coding and DevOps best practices including CI/CD.
• Document technical decisions and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Python proficiency for AI/ML development, including REST API and SDK integration.
• Hands-on production experience with LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and tool use, including LangGraph/LangChain.
• Deep knowledge of secure cloud AI services (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock).
• Experience building/maintaining data pipelines, ETL, ontologies, and metadata catalogs.
• Strong secure coding and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic/AI platforms such as Anthropic (Gov), OpenAI Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, or Grok Enterprise.
• Knowledge of metadata catalog platforms (MCP) and advanced API development.
• Prior experience with government or other highly regulated cloud environments and compliance standards.
