AI/ML Engineer - Remote

Role Overview

Join YO IT Consulting as an AI/ML Engineer (Full-Time, Remote) to deliver secure, scalable machine learning systems for government initiatives and proprietary AI infrastructure. You will build production-grade capabilities using LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML systems, especially LLM-based applications using RAG and prompt engineering
• Orchestrate multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain
• Integrate and deploy solutions on secure cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock)
• Build data pipelines, manage ETL, and develop metadata catalogs and ontologies for high-quality training/inference data
• Create and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations for model and data interactions
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams; follow secure coding and CI/CD best practices
• Document technical decisions and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, including REST API and SDK integration
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering in production
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and tool-use using LangGraph/LangChain
• Deep understanding of secure cloud AI services: AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock
• Experience building/maintaining data pipelines, ontologies, metadata catalogs, and ETL
• Strong grasp of secure coding and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic/AI platforms such as Anthropic (Gov), OpenAI Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, or Grok Enterprise
• Knowledge of metadata catalog platforms (MCP) and advanced API development
• Prior exposure to government or highly regulated cloud environments and compliance requirements
