AI/ML Engineer - Remote

Role Overview

Join YO IT Consulting as an AI/ML Engineer to support mission-critical government initiatives and contribute to proprietary AI infrastructure. You will build production-grade machine learning systems using LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML solutions, especially LLM-based applications, RAG, and prompt engineering
• Develop and orchestrate multi-agent systems using LangGraph and LangChain
• Integrate and deploy solutions on secure government cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock)
• Build and maintain data pipelines, including ETL, and develop metadata catalogs/ontologies to support training and inference
• Create and maintain REST APIs and SDK integrations for model and data interactions
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams and follow secure coding and DevOps practices, including CI/CD
• Document technical decisions and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Python proficiency for AI/ML development, including REST API and SDK integration experience
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering in production
• Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration and LangGraph/LangChain
• Deep understanding of government cloud AI services (AWS GovCloud, Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+, Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock)
• Experience building data pipelines, ontologies, metadata catalogs, and ETL
• Strong grasp of secure coding and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/agentic platforms such as Anthropic (Gov), OpenAI Enterprise, Gemini Enterprise, or Grok Enterprise
• Knowledge of metadata catalog platforms (MCP) and advanced API techniques
• Prior exposure to government or other highly regulated compliance environments
