AI Engineer - Remote

Role Overview

Huzzle.com is hiring a skilled AI Engineer for a fully remote full-time engagement as an independent contractor. You’ll work with product, engineering, and data teams to design and deploy AI/ML systems, integrate models into production, and contribute to generative AI and LLM initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models for real-world applications
• Develop and optimize AI-powered features using modern frameworks and APIs
• Work with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, or open-source alternatives)
• Build AI pipelines for data processing, training, inference, and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI solutions
• Integrate AI services into web applications, SaaS platforms, and internal tools
• Fine-tune and evaluate models for performance and scalability
• Maintain documentation and ensure AI systems follow security and compliance best practices
• Stay current with advances in AI, ML, generative AI, and automation

Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on experience as an AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer (or similar)
• Strong Python skills and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and/or LangChain
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and/or AI agents
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Experience deploying models on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and backend development
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication while working remotely
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/AI/Data Science (preferred)

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of MLOps and model monitoring tools
• Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems
• Experience building AI SaaS products or chatbots
• Exposure to FastAPI, Node.js, and/or React
• Experience with AI automation tools and agent frameworks
