About the role
Role Overview
As an AI Engineer at Reedsy, you will design and build AI-powered tools for authors, improve internal workflows, and partner with engineering and operations teams to deliver high-impact AI features.
Key Missions
- Design and implement AI tools for authors, such as:
- A narrative co-pilot
- A visual storyboarding assistant
- Improve internal workflows by automating repetitive tasks and enhancing the user experience across products.
- Collaborate with engineers and operations to identify high-value AI opportunities and build internal tools to support AI development.
Requirements
- Proven experience integrating AI/ML into real-world products.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building end-to-end AI features (author-facing and internal tooling) and working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
