AI Engineer - AI/ML/LLM/GenAI

Role Overview

Hands-on AI Engineer focused on AI/ML/LLM/GenAI. You will rapidly prototype, validate, and scale AI solutions from PoC to production, pairing daily with engineers and working closely with product leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML tools and systems
• Rapidly iterate on PoCs with product stakeholders
• Champion AI engineering best practices and code quality
• Drive LLM/GenAI solutions through the full lifecycle from experimentation to productization

Required / Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong ML fundamentals with practical GenAI experience
• Experience with RAG, fine-tuning, vector stores, and agentic frameworks
• Data-driven, inquisitive, and able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable owning both experimentation and productization

Technical Skills (Key Areas)

• Python (advanced): APIs, pipelines, AI orchestration (6+ years)
• LLMs: prompting patterns, structured outputs, RAG architecture, vector search, hallucination mitigation, safety/guardrails
• Agentic & MCP: multi-agent workflows (planner/executor/reviewer), MCP server design, A2A patterns
• Data: SQL / SQL Server, data access pattern design
• Cloud: MS Azure / MS Fabric (preferred)
• Observability: logging, tracing, prompt monitoring, drift detection (e.g., Datadog)
• Tooling: GitHub Copilot, Git

Experience Requirements

• 6+ years Python development
• 3–4+ years AI/ML project experience with a focus on production delivery

• Rate: $60–65/hr
