AI Enablement Engineer

Role overview

As an AI Enablement Engineer at Payrails, you will work directly with the CTO to identify and eliminate friction in engineering, product, and design workflows using AI-powered tooling and automation.

Key missions

• Identify and remove friction points across Engineering, Product, and Design workflows through AI tooling and automation.
• Build, measure, and scale systems that improve productivity for engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Create and organize knowledge bases (internal and external) so both humans and AI agents can access accurate information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows and pinpoint bottlenecks.
• Build and maintain knowledge bases.
• Collaborate across teams to align enablement content with real needs.
• Create engaging learning resources.
• Continuously improve AI responses and content quality.

Requirements

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills with an educational approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• AI-native mindset.
• Familiarity with prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agent workflows.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with outstanding communication and writing skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and produce documentation that teaches.
• Comfortable using Notion or similar CMS/wiki tools.
• Understanding of APIs, automation, and system integration concepts.
• 3–5 years of experience in Engineer, Enablement, or Training.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI tooling with internal documentation/knowledge workflows (implied by RAG/agent familiarity and CMS usage).
