Role Overview

Join Sparetech as the first AI Automation Engineer. You will design, build, and scale AI-powered workflows and agents that improve how teams operate across the company. This is a hands-on role with significant impact on speed, process intelligence, and automation adoption.

Key Missions

Design, build, and scale AI-driven workflows and agents across the company.
Identify, prioritize, and implement high-value automation opportunities into well-scoped use cases.
Monitor usage and performance using lightweight dashboards and drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

Partner with multiple departments to find automation opportunities.
Continuously evolve the AI toolchain and improve reliability, speed, and cost.
Define and track metrics for outcomes and system performance.
Establish safe, production-oriented AI workflows and continuous evaluation.

Requirements

Security and privacy awareness, with practical judgment on safe data use and compliance.
Engineering foundation with hands-on experience building automations and integrations, plus strong debugging and testing practices.
Applied AI fluency, including experience with:
- Production-oriented LLM workflows
- RAG architectures
- Prompting and context engineering
- Evaluation frameworks
- Security guardrails
- Workflow automation
Ownership mindset: identify opportunities, scope solutions, and drive adoption.
Outcome mindset and comfort defining metrics to improve reliability, speed, and cost.
Clear, friendly communication and ability to collaborate across the company.
