About the role

AI Architect (Remote)

Design and lead scalable, secure AI solution architecture for enterprise document generation and automation.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture: Architect secure, scalable AI systems for document generation, auditing, and standardization, using an AbbVie-approved technology stack.
Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and support selection of AI/ML models, NLP frameworks, and related technologies for document-centric automation.
Requirement Analysis: Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical architecture and specifications for AI-driven document solutions.
End-to-End Implementation: Oversee the AI solution lifecycle from development through deployment.
Innovation & Roadmapping: Stay current on AI advancements and identify opportunities to improve automation quality and capabilities.
Documentation & Enablement: Maintain architecture documentation and provide technical guidance/training to project teams.
Technical Debt Management: Promote maintainable, modular, extensible AI solutions and proactively address areas prone to technical debt (architecture, code quality, testing, documentation).

Requirements

5–7 years in solution architecture, application architecture, or senior technical design.
Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred).
Experience with AI/ML, NLP, or LLM-based technologies in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with document management platforms such as Veeva Vault (preferred).
Strong understanding of secure, scalable, compliant system design principles.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture/specs.
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a matrixed, cross-functional enterprise environment.

Nice-to-haves

Pharma and Operations experience.
Experience aligned with AbbVie-approved technology stack.
