About the role

Role overview

Join Plain Concepts’ expanding AI/ML team as an AI Architect / Senior AI Engineer. You will lead strategic initiatives, architect and build end-to-end AI/ML solutions, and collaborate across teams to ensure technical excellence and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop end-to-end AI/ML solutions tailored to complex business problems.
Lead the technical design and implementation of production-grade models and ML pipelines.
Own deployment, optimization, and monitoring of models and related infrastructure (MLOps).
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project success.
Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
Build full-stack products that integrate embedded ML/AI components.

Requirements

Strong background in NLP and Computer Vision.
7+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
Expert-level Python and solid SQL.
Proven ability to initiate and deliver complex technology projects.
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
MLOps experience with relevant tooling.
Experience with Azure (or other cloud-based solutions).
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and business applications.
Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong object-oriented programming skills.
RESTful API development and DevOps practices.

Nice to have / Additional skills

TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow Serving, gRPC, and unit testing.
Knowledge of recommendation systems, unsupervised learning, and ranking models.
Familiarity with Cognitive Services and Agentic AI.
Big Data tools and cloud platforms (especially Azure).
Docker and CI/CD.
