Agile Team Coach

Role Overview

As an Agile Team Coach at Guardian Life, you will empower agile teams to achieve peak performance by coaching on agile practices, facilitating continuous improvement, and supporting digital transformation. You’ll use data to drive insights, foster collaboration and self-organization, and help teams adopt new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Champion Agile methodologies across teams, ensuring adherence to agile principles and practices.
• Coach and mentor teams with empathy to support growth, collaboration, and self-organization.
• Facilitate training sessions/workshops to build team skills (e.g., requirements management, data analysis, emerging technologies).
• Apply data analysis to identify business process improvement opportunities and measure KPIs.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including evaluating the impact of AI and other emerging technologies.
• Lead change management by guiding teams through transitions and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes/tools.
• Manage requirements to maintain clarity, alignment, and effective execution of project goals.
• Mitigate risks using robust risk management strategies and proactive problem-solving.
• Influence stakeholders through strong relationships to secure buy-in for team objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience coaching and mentoring teams in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile Methodology and practical application.
• Strong analytical acumen and data analysis skills.
• Experience with business process improvements and digital transformation.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and potential applications.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and facilitation skills.
• High emotional intelligence and empathy.
• Proficiency in change management.
• Experience with requirements management and defining KPIs.
• Solid understanding of risk management.
• Ability to influence and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Location & Schedule

• Three days per week at a Guardian office in Holmdel, NJ.
