About the role

Role Overview

Broadcom’s Mainframe Software Division is seeking an Agile Leader to lead and support software development teams delivering continuous value. You will coach teams on Agile practices, drive continuous improvement, and apply a data-driven approach to team performance. This is an in-person role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Coach Teams: Grow teams into self-organizing, high-performing and sustainable units; promote a healthy, collaborative environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities, facilitate feedback loops, and guide implementation of changes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other leaders to align goals and priorities.
  • Remove Roadblocks: Actively identify and remove obstacles preventing progress and value delivery.
  • Agile Metrics & Data-Driven Decisions: Track and use metrics such as flow metrics, velocity, and cycle time to improve performance.
  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Run sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to drive transparency and collaboration.
  • Champion Agile Practices: Advocate for and implement Agile best practices across teams; enable cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in an Agile software development environment (or Master’s + 6+ years).
  • Subject matter expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
  • Experience working in and coaching an Agile environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
