Agile Delivery Manager

Role Overview

You’ll be the Agile Delivery Manager helping Limble scale how its engineering organization delivers. With ~45 engineers and growing, you’ll connect teams by strengthening delivery operations, improving flow, and ensuring release processes are consistently followed—especially in a 21CFR-regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own JIRA as the engineering source of truth: workflows, statuses, hygiene standards, and dashboards that accurately reflect delivery.
• Track and report flow metrics at the team level (e.g., cycle time, throughput, WIP, flow efficiency, predictability) with regular trend reviews.
• Monitor bug backlog health (inflow vs. outflow) and partner with QE and engineering managers to keep trends moving correctly.
• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums to surface cross-team dependencies and blockers early, and track resolutions.
• Audit and improve SDLC and agile ceremonies across teams (standups, retros, sprint planning, refinement) by coaching engineering managers and scrum leads.
• Drive a consistent engineering operating rhythm: standardized cadences, demo practices, and planning processes.
• Own the release process for a 21CFR-regulated environment including change control documentation and coordination with validation/audit stakeholders.
• Define and maintain deployment processes for weekly web app releases (runbooks, go/no-go criteria, communication templates).
• Maintain a visible risk and blocker register, reviewed often with engineering and product leadership.
• Run agile maturity assessments and drive practical, targeted improvements.
• Publish a quarterly engineering delivery report summarizing execution health and trends for leadership.
• Maintain a delivery onboarding playbook to help new engineers/managers ramp on the operating model.
• Use AI tooling to automate manual reporting/tasks and improve analytics and insight generation.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in agile delivery, program management, or release management across multiple software engineering teams.
• Proven ability to own JIRA administration (configuration, workflows, JQL, dashboards, reporting).
• Strong comfort with lean/KISS principles and removing process rather than adding it.
• Deep fluency with flow-based metrics and experience improving cycle time/predictability (not just reporting).
• Experience defining/manage release processes in regulated software environments (e.g., 21CFR, SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar).
• Servant-leader mindset: coaching effectively without unnecessary process.
• Ability to work across a distributed, fast-moving engineering organization without direct authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication: translate delivery data into a story leadership can act on.
• Strong organizational instincts and visibility: surface issues early.
• Experience with AI tooling (e.g., OpenAI, and similar).
