About the role

Role overview

The Agile Delivery Lead (Scrum Master) helps build high-performing software and infrastructure teams to deliver high-value products and platform projects using Agile (Lean/Agile) methodologies. The role combines Scrum facilitation, team leadership, and coaching team capacities while protecting psychological health and ensuring delivery and quality.

Responsibilities

Team development & capacity building

Build self-sustaining teams with strong software development practices across communication, estimation, planning, prioritization, and delivery
Nurture team health by modeling vulnerability, holding team members accountable, and ensuring structured feedback loops within and outside the team
Maintain transparent facilitation practices and communicate backlog, workload, throughput, and velocity with clear delivery and milestone metrics
Assess team skills via a competency matrix, perform gap analysis relative to workload and responsibilities

Scrum facilitation

Facilitate key ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Support the Product Owner and/or Platform Lead in maintaining healthy dynamics around scope and prioritization
Support the Technical Lead in team development and execution (text truncated in provided posting)

Agile/Lean leadership

Educate teams in Lean and Agile methodology, practices, and values
Facilitate continuous improvement in process and communication
Develop psychological safety on teams; support transparency and healthy vulnerability; enable productive conflict resolution

Requirements

Strong Lean/Agile leadership and ability to embody Scrum values (focus, courage, openness, commitment, respect)
Ability to drive psychological safety and transparent, vulnerable communication
Strong facilitation skills and ability to apply Agile/Scrum artifacts and frameworks
Ability to balance UX design, engineering capabilities, user/customer needs, process, and business goals to guide tradeoffs

Nice-to-haves

Experience working across cross-functional software/infrastructure teams with a strong focus on delivery quality and continuous improvement
