Agile Delivery Lead (Americas - Freelance Contract)

Role overview

As an Agile Delivery Lead at Human Made, you’ll drive project delivery while also providing strategic leadership for distributed teams. You’ll guide Scrum/agile execution for WordPress-based enterprise client projects, balancing delivery goals, team alignment, and client engagement.

Key missions

• Manage delivery of WordPress projects for enterprise clients while pairing delivery execution with strategic team leadership.
• Lead client engagement, delivery planning, and cross-functional collaboration, aligning business needs with agile principles.
• Facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders and partners involved in delivery.

Responsibilities (implied)

• Support Scrum/agile practices and coordination across multi-project environments.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment through facilitation and stakeholder management.
• Recommend and use appropriate delivery/project management tooling.

Requirements

• Experience in a Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead role.
• Experience in an enterprise agency environment and/or hands-on Scrum practice.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-project contexts with fast adaptation and effective context switching.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to communicate technical concepts.
• Knowledge of web technologies and delivery fundamentals, including:
  • WordPress, PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Version control and hosting/deployment best practices
• Excellent English communication (working language).
• Experience using project management tools for time/budget tracking and issue tracking (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, and similar).
• Ability to apply Scrum with broader awareness of agile principles and a data-driven mindset.
• Strong servant leadership, facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and transparency.
• Ability to negotiate and adapt scope in response to change.

Nice-to-haves

• CSM or PSM I/II (or similar) certification.
