About the role
Role Overview
Practicvate is seeking an Agile Coach to establish and scale a new Agile Center of Excellence. You will work hands-on with delivery teams and leadership to embed Agile ways of working, strengthen execution discipline, and guide teams through the early phases of their Agile transformation.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on coaching by embedding with delivery teams and leadership to improve execution quality and delivery outcomes
- Coach Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineering teams on:
- Agile principles
- Flow efficiency
- Backlog management
- Iterative delivery
- Facilitate and strengthen Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint planning
- Stand-ups
- Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Identify and remove delivery blockers, Agile anti-patterns, and organizational impediments affecting team performance
- Guide teams through Agile adoption phases: onboarding, initiation, and stabilization
- Promote consistent use of Agile tools, metrics, and practices to improve transparency, predictability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with the Agile Center of Excellence to:
- Define lightweight standards
- Share best practices
- Improve coaching frameworks
- Support leadership to build Agile maturity, scale Agile practices, and foster a continuous improvement culture
- Provide real-time coaching to improve team dynamics, collaboration, and delivery discipline
- Track and communicate Agile maturity progress and improvement opportunities across teams
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Agile Delivery, or related roles
- Proven experience leading/coaching Agile teams in complex environments
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (if applicable)
- Experience working with IT delivery teams, SDLC, and cross-functional teams
- Strong hands-on experience with project/Agile tools such as Workfront, MS Project, Jira (or similar)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, cloud technologies, and delivery governance
