About the role

Role Overview

Agile Coach (Consultant) supporting MTA-IT’s Agile transformation journey. You will coach teams and leaders, facilitate enterprise-scale change, and help drive Agile adoption, cross-team collaboration, and operational excellence—without direct managerial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Transformation Coaching

    • Collaborate with CoE leadership to create and execute a tailored Agile transformation roadmap.
    • Serve as a mentor, influencer, and change advocate, helping teams discover better ways of working.
    • Coach large-scale Agile product transformation initiatives using outcome-based plans.
    • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile frameworks.
    • Partner with product teams to adopt Agile and product-focused practices to improve delivery and business value.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to teams and mid-level leadership by reinforcing Agile principles and practices.
  • Training and Facilitation

    • Design and deliver interactive workshops, training sessions, and hands-on labs.
    • Tailor training materials for different groups (e.g., Infosec, Operations, user-facing applications).
    • Educate teams on technical best practices, including DevOps, XP engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, pairing), and Lean principles.

Requirements (Preferred/Key)

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and product-centric practices.
  • Understanding of organizational behavior and change management.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous learning and improvement within teams.
  • Experience transitioning organizations from traditional methods to Agile.
  • Comprehensive expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and LeSS.
  • Systems thinking and ability to navigate complex organizations.
  • Deep technical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
