About the role

Role overview

The Agent & Broker Product Owner will lead product vision and roadmap for Agent & Broker (AB) digital platforms supporting a government modernization initiative. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, user-centered, and aligned with regulatory and federal compliance requirements.

Key accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary Product Owner for Agent & Broker digital platforms.
  • Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Own and continuously refine the product roadmap based on regulatory needs, user needs, and strategy.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog; ensure epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria are delivery-ready.
  • Translate complex business and federal regulatory requirements into actionable agile features.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, and DevSecOps to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes.
  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives.
  • Support release planning, stakeholder communication, and iterative improvement using user feedback and product performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product management/product ownership in complex digital environments.
  • 5+ years experience in regulated industries (insurance, healthcare, financial services) or government programs.
  • Proven experience working on agent and broker platforms, marketplaces, or similar ecosystem products.
  • Strong Agile background: Scrum required, SAFe preferred.
  • Federal/government contracting experience with awareness of compliance requirements.
  • Ability to write detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management, including senior leader engagement.
  • Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and enterprise digital platforms.
  • Analytical mindset to balance priorities in fast-paced, regulated environments.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency, with residency in the Continental United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience specifically in SAFe environments.
  • Experience across DevSecOps and compliance-heavy delivery workflows.
