Adobe Experience Manager Developer

Role Overview

As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer, you will build and maintain enterprise-grade digital experiences on AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM as a Cloud Service. The role is hands-on, covering components, templates, workflows, integrations, and front-end experiences—optimized for performance, content authoring usability, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations
• Implement enterprise digital experience features using AEM Sites/Assets and AEM as a Cloud Service
• Deliver front-end experiences with attention to performance and maintainability
• Build and support headless delivery patterns, including SPA Editor and modern AEM architectures
• Create Content Fragments and implement GraphQL APIs
• Use CI/CD pipelines to support AEM deployments
• Troubleshoot issues and perform performance tuning
• Collaborate effectively with content authors, editors, and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of AEM development experience
• Deep expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, and HTL
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture (author, publish, Dispatcher tiers)
• Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
• Experience with Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs, and headless delivery
• Strong front-end skills with modern JavaScript and build tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AEM
• Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

• Adobe Certified AEM Developer credentials
• Experience with Edge Delivery Services and Franklin/HLX
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
• Experience with multi-region or multi-brand AEM deployments
• Experience integrating AEM with commerce platforms such as Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud
