Accounting Manager

About the role

Join our innovative Accounting & Finance team as an Accounting Manager. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end accounts payable function, manage and develop the AP team, prepare month-end reconciliations, enforce internal controls, and identify opportunities for process improvement. You will also support vendor management, internal and external audit requests, and shared services initiatives. This is a remote-first position with a flexible work environment and a comprehensive benefits package. Key missions: Own the end-to-end accounts payable (AP) function, including invoice processing, vendor payment runs, subledger-to-GL reconciliations, aging review, and month-end accruals.. Oversee and develop the AP team — including the Team Lead and AP Specialists — through goal-setting, performance reviews, coaching, and day-to-day support.. Identify opportunities to streamline and modernize AP workflows, whether through process redesign, automation, training or AI-powered and agentic tools to reduce manual effort, increase accuracy, and scale the function as the business grows. Profile: - Excellent communication and organization skills - Adaptable with the ability to view challenges as an opportunity to grow - Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines - Skilled in performing accounting procedures; preparing and maintaining accurate records; compiling & preparing financial reports - Advanced Excel skills required, including VLOOKUP’s, SUMIF’s and Pivot Tables - Solid knowledge of US GAAP - 5-7 years of accounting experience - Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting - Ability to complete and review Financial flux analysis - Expertise in accrual accounting methods - Experience with NetSuite Accounting system and Zip is a plus - We recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
