Accountant

Role Overview

Remote is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance, Tax & Accounting team. The role supports accounting operations across international entities and reports to the Manager, Accounting and Controls. Headquarters: Remote (EMEA); candidates must align with EMEA time zone.

Responsibilities

• Post transactions in SAP
• Close & reconcile sub-ledgers including:
  • AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank, Intercompany
  • Record and reconcile payroll for various countries
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with variance analysis preparation
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including:
  • VAT returns
  • Statutory financial documents
  • CIT returns and other filings
• Support statutory close and financial statement preparation
• Perform analysis and contribute to additional projects as requested

Requirements

• Post-qualification accounting experience
• EMEA time zone required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with core finance systems (SAP or similar is a bonus)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Financial analysis skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal)
• Time management and ability to meet frequent deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Strong automation/AI capabilities and AI fluency
