About the role
Role Overview
Account Executive III (Mid-Market, Inside Sales) at Sumo Logic. You will drive growth in the mid-market segment by managing a full sales cycle with a consultative approach in a high-performance sales culture.
Responsibilities
- Target, manage, and sell to a defined geographic territory (< 1,500 employees) in the mid-market
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close to build and fill pipeline
- Create and deliver accurate sales forecasts
- Deliver product demos using web tools for prospecting and customer engagements
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a strong customer experience and that customer needs are met
Requirements
- 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS experience (e.g., IT Infrastructure Management or Cloud Security)
- Proven quota over-achievement selling to technical audiences (IT Operations, Security, DevOps)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative mindset
- Contact network in the Big Data ecosystem (preferred)
- Salesforce power user
