Role Overview

Account Executive (Financial Services Industry, UK&I) at Workiva. You will drive new business acquisition and customer expansion in the financial services sector across the UK and Ireland. This is a remote role supporting London (UK).

Key Responsibilities

Acquire new business and customer expansion opportunities in financial services.
Collaborate with other Workiva Solution Sales teams to support multi-solution selling and drive customer acquisition.
Develop and execute a sales strategy to secure deals, including:
- Addressing customer objections
- Guiding prospects through the sales process to close
Deliver compelling platform demonstrations and lead the overall sales process to a successful close.
Manage multiple complex enterprise sales cycles simultaneously.

Requirements

4+ years experience in a related role (enterprise technology / complex solution sales).
Strong understanding of the SaaS business model.
Ability to demonstrate complex software applications.
Executive presence and communication ability at senior levels.
Strong business acumen to understand complex business challenges.
Ability to identify and navigate influencers vs. buyers during the sales cycle.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales quota targets.
Ability to negotiate pricing while retaining value.
Reliable internet access for remote work.
Up to 30% travel for customer meetings and events.

Education

Undergraduate degree (or equivalent combination of knowledge and related experience).
