Account Executive (Expansion, Retail)

Role Overview

Account Executive (Expansion, Retail) at Snowflake (Full remote). You will lead expansion-focused sales for retail sector accounts, driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Missions / Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory by building a sales strategy and regional sales plan.
• Partner with Marketing to develop marketing plans that drive revenue growth.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process from prospect qualification through opportunity closure.
• Ensure ongoing account management to sustain expansion outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and collaborate with internal teams to support revenue goals.

Profile / Requirements

• 3+ years experience generating new business within Retail & CPG Enterprise accounts.
• Proven track record of success in consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
• Executive-level relationship management.
• New business sales focus.
• Ability to identify customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• BA/BS required.
• Proactive, independent, hands-on, positive attitude.
• Ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
• Experience implementing MEDDPICC.

Nice-to-Haves

• 5+ years field sales experience preferred, especially with data or cloud technology.
• Experience selling enterprise software/cloud applications.
• Strong ability to understand the bigger picture and IT business drivers.
