About the role

Role Overview

As an iOS Engineer at Velos, you’ll work on a variety of client mobile projects—often from idea phase through shipping an initial release and beyond, or helping deliver key features to existing products.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple client projects across the full product lifecycle (idea → ship → iterate)
  • Collaborate closely with highly experienced senior engineers
  • Partner with the design team and/or client designers during the design process
  • Participate in an Agile development process

Requirements

  • Experience and understanding of Agile
  • Familiarity with Jira (or other bug trackers)
  • Strong eye for design with ability to implement pixel-perfect, complex UI
  • Solid experience with Swift and iOS
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new frameworks and libraries
  • Strong attention to detail for UI/UX, architectural design, and code quality
  • Value: clean, understandable, testable code

Nice-to-haves

  • Comfort contributing from an architectural perspective and writing maintainable, testable code
