Role overview

Sr. Software Engineer responsible for building, integrating, maintaining, and documenting complex web and mobile applications that support core business initiatives at Hyundai AutoEver America.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications
• Architect and implement front-end UI solutions and deploy applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to define optimal solutions
• Perform code and design reviews with peers and technical leaders
• Investigate and resolve defects and technical issues
• Provide production support and participate in new development initiatives
• Contribute to Agile development processes and ceremonies
• Develop and execute unit tests and test scenarios
• Ensure performance, usability, maintainability, and integration across systems
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years IT experience with 4+ years in web application development
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (Less/SASS)
• Experience with Vue.js and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket and build tools such as Grunt
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and excellent communication/teamwork

Preferred qualifications

• TypeScript experience
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Technical certifications or relevant coursework
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications

Location & compensation

• Location: Irvine, CA (HQ)
• Salary range: $103,170 - $158,873 (annual)
