About the role

Overview

Join Hypha as a Web Designer / Developer and work alongside senior developers to build and maintain websites and digital assets for diverse clients on the HubSpot CMS platform. This role offers mentorship, hands-on client work, and opportunities for skill growth in a collaborative agency environment.

Responsibilities

Build and update front-end web pages and landing pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Assist with development and maintenance of custom HubSpot CMS modules and templates
Perform routine site updates, quality assurance checks, and basic troubleshooting
Translate designs from Figma into clean, responsive code
Support accessibility improvements and learn WCAG best practices
Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to meet client deadlines
Learn and apply HubSpot tools, HubL templating, and HubDB

Requirements

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ability to explain your code
Comfort with responsive and mobile-first design principles
Ability to read and modify existing codebases
Basic understanding of how the web works (browsers, HTTP, DNS, hosting)
Eagerness to learn new tools, platforms, and workflows
Strong communication skills and ability to ask good questions

Nice-To-Haves

Exposure to HubSpot CMS, HubL, or marketing CMS platforms
Familiarity with JavaScript libraries or frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap, GSAP, React)
Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or design tools
Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals
Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude)
Portfolio, personal projects, or freelance work samples
