Role Overview
UX Researcher to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models by assessing how AI systems understand and generate design work. You'll use your design expertise to evaluate AI outputs and help refine the model's understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.
Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance
- Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design
- Provide detailed feedback to shape how AI tools support designers
Qualifications
- Required: Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
- Required: Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Required: Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Required: Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- Preferred: Current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor's degree
Work Terms
- Remote: Full-time or part-time remote position in United States
- Flexibility: Choose which projects to work on; work on your own schedule
- Contract Type: Independent contract position
- Payment: Via PayPal; general AI training projects start at $20+/hr, design-focused projects start at $40+/hr, with bonuses for exceptional work
