UX Design Lead

Role Overview

Lead high-value UX initiatives for clients while strengthening design execution and strategy. You'll drive exceptional design work, lead UX engagements, and partner with stakeholders to align UX efforts with business outcomes. This role combines client-facing leadership with internal team mentorship and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leading UX Strategy & Project Outcomes

• Own and lead UX projects, ensuring delivery of impactful solutions aligned with business and user goals
• Define UX strategy and execution plans, guiding the team on approach, workflows, and best practices
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and client stakeholders to align UX efforts with product objectives
• Shape the UX of AI-powered product features (internal and client-facing)
• Balance mentorship and execution by reviewing team deliverables while owning key UX outputs
• Ensure design improvements drive product adoption, efficiency, and user satisfaction with focus on measurable business impact
• Communicate and present design strategies effectively to clients and internal teams

Strengthening UX Processes & Team Growth

• Coach and mentor designers to grow their skills and strategic thinking
• Enhance UX workflows, design reviews, and quality control processes
• Promote responsible exploration and integration of AI into design workflows
• Support hiring and onboarding of new designers
• Contribute to presales efforts, shaping UX proposals and strategy discussions

Requirements

Experience

• 8+ years in UX design, with at least 2 years leading and managing UX teams (preferably agency/service-based)
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX work, including team leadership or client account management
• Must have B2B products and enterprise applications experience
• HealthTech industry experience is a plus
• Exposure to AI in product or UX context (tool usage, feature design, or AI-powered product collaboration) is highly preferred
