User Researcher

Role Overview

Qualitative/Mixed Methods Researcher based in India, leading the full research lifecycle from discovery to synthesis while partnering with stakeholders to transform user insights into tangible product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Research Planning & Execution: Design and conduct generative (discovery) and evaluative (usability) research using methods including 1:1 interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, and diary studies
• Continuous Testing: Validate concepts and prototypes early and often to reduce risk and ensure usability
• Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct competitor research to benchmark products and services against the market
• Research Evangelism: Champion a user-centric culture by advocating for research insights across the organization, bridging India-based teams and the global product organization
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships across teams to ensure research learnings are impactful and actionable

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Product or UX Researcher in an agency or product company
• Analytical with excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and methodical approach to work
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to take initiative
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Multi-language proficiency preferred (Telugu ability a plus)
