Role Overview
Join Branch's Product Team as a Qualitative/Mixed Methods Researcher based in India. You will independently lead the full research lifecycle from discovery to synthesis, partnering with stakeholders to transform user insights into tangible product improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and Execute Research: Design and conduct generative (discovery) and evaluative (usability) research using methods including 1:1 interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, and diary studies
- Continuous Testing: Validate concepts and prototypes early and often to reduce risk and ensure usability
- Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct competitor research to benchmark products and services against the market
- Evangelize Research: Champion a user-centric culture by advocating for research insights across the organization and bridging India-based teams with the global product organization
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure research learnings are cascaded effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience as a Product Researcher or UX Researcher in an agency setting or product company
- Analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and methodical approach
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to take initiative
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Multi-language proficiency preferred (Telugu ability is a plus)
