About the role
Role Overview
Help train and improve cutting-edge AI models by assessing and enhancing how AI systems understand, generate, and evaluate design work. You'll use your design expertise to evaluate AI outputs, provide detailed feedback, and help refine the model's understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.
Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance
- Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design
- Provide detailed feedback to shape how next-generation AI tools support designers
Project Types
- General AI training projects: Available immediately upon approval
- Design-specific projects: Focus on UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation (including presentations and creative deliverables)
Requirements
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Nice-to-Haves
- Current, in progress, or completed Bachelor's degree
Work Details
- Schedule: Choose your own schedule; work on projects you want
- Location: Remote (Hawaii-based, US only)
- Compensation: General AI projects $20+/hr; design-focused projects $40+/hr; bonuses for exceptional work
- Payment: Via PayPal (handles USD currency conversions)
- Contract Type: Independent contractor position
