Test Automation Engineer (Remote - Night Shift)

Overview

Responsible for designing and executing test environments for Quality Assurance Engineers. Tests products and software to ensure quality and successful rollout. Acts as a key contributor and potential team lead in a complex QA environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to identify product and technical requirements
• Review and verify requirements and design specifications for product testability and verification
• Contribute to the development of Quality Assurance test philosophies and methodologies
• Identify viable test strategies to support product functionality testing
• Publish detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Develop test cases and detail test scenarios for QA Engineers, oversee execution, tracking, and automation
• Ensure proper execution of regression test procedures and automated test suites and scripts
• Participate in design, code, and functional product reviews for white-box test design
• Review project progress, evaluate results, and recommend technical corrections
• Lead identification and resolution of problems and defects; initiate investigation processes and drive issues to resolution
• Mentor junior-level Quality Assurance Engineers and provide technical leadership
• Support trials of new infrastructure designs/services
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot problems
• Maintain technical quality assurance and control systems
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules with overtime as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Test Automation/QA Engineer
