Staff Software Engineer - CRM - US (Remote)

Role Overview

As a Staff Software Engineer on the CRM team, you'll be a technical leader driving AI-powered product delivery and shaping platform architecture. You'll work on initiatives that transform how real estate professionals manage relationships and grow their business using advanced AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-Powered Relationship Intelligence: Build data-enrichment and scoring systems that analyze behavioral signals, detect life events, and surface proactive recommendations for agents
• Autonomous Conversational AI: Evolve long-running SMS and phone-based AI systems that engage, qualify, and follow up with real estate leads across hundreds of thousands of contacts
• Unified Contact Graph: Design the contact data model that integrates email sync, third-party CRMs, enrichment providers, and agent input with bidirectional sync and deduplication
• AI-Driven Workflow Automation: Build automation layers (Smart Actions, Smart Tasks, Deals Pipeline) that proactively surface the right next step based on agent behavior
• Technical Leadership: Shape platform architecture, establish engineering standards, and mentor team members on AI-augmented development practices

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering with meaningful time in senior or staff-level roles
• Core Technologies: Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Architecture: Experience designing and operating scalable microservice architectures in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred)
• Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of GraphQL, event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS), and distributed databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch)
• Proven Track Record: Leading high-impact initiatives from concept through production in SaaS environments
• Design Expertise: Expert-level grasp of software design principles and multi-tenant platform architectures
