Sr Java Developer - Remote

Position Overview

Senior Java Developer contract position (12+ months) with a focus on modern web application development and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern web applications using Java and Spring Boot
Build microservice-based applications in an Agile environment
Work with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services
Collaborate on full-stack development using Angular and TypeScript

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
8+ years of software development experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with modern web application development technologies:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Angular
- TypeScript
- GraphQL
- Microservice-based applications
3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
Direct experience building microservice-based applications in Agile environments
