Sr. Frontend Technical Lead (REMOTE)

Role Overview

Sr. Frontend Technical Lead (Remote) - A hands-on technical leadership position for a strong frontend and mobile engineering professional to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern web and mobile applications in a large enterprise financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead web and mobile engineering efforts across modern customer-facing digital products
• Remain hands-on in application development, architecture, debugging, and code review
• Guide engineering teams on frontend and mobile best practices using React and React Native
• Partner with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
• Make architecture and implementation decisions supporting scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Support API integration and collaboration across frontend and backend services
• Establish and reinforce engineering best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across the software development lifecycle
• Help drive modernization efforts across web/mobile platforms
• Contribute to release quality and production readiness

Required Experience

• 10 to 14 years of total software engineering experience
• Strong recent hands-on experience with both React and React Native
• Technical Lead experience within the last 3 years
• Ongoing involvement in architecture decisions and code reviews
• Experience leading engineers technically while remaining close to implementation
• Experience delivering modern digital applications in enterprise environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Technical Background

• Frontend/Mobile: React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, modern component-based UI development, state management, API integration
• Backend/Platform: C#, .NET/.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices exposure
• DevOps/Delivery: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, YAML pipelines, build and release automation
• Testing/Quality: Playwright, Selenium, automated testing practices, quality gates, release readiness
