Sr. Frontend Engineer with React (Vitejs) -Remote

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer role requiring 5+ years of experience with React and modern frontend technologies. This is a remote, long-term position requiring W2 or C2C contract status.

Responsibilities

• Take on senior/lead engineer responsibilities: leading tasks, reviewing team member code, and ensuring first-time code quality
• Write clean, well-designed code following modern agile development processes
• Understand user stories, translate them into technical specifications, and implement working solutions
• Follow TDD-based unit testing practices
• Produce detailed technical specifications
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases for optimization and functionality
• Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle
• Develop and deploy new features
• Participate in the full product development cycle: brainstorming, release planning, estimation, implementation, client coordination, code/design reviews, MVP and production releases, QA, and product support

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience with React (Vitejs), Tailwind CSS, and shadcn
• 5+ years designing and developing UI applications
• 5+ years unit testing experience (JTest or similar)
• 5+ years with DevOps and Agile practices
• Code review experience
• Ability to write efficiently structured and modularized code
• Experience integrating code with databases and frontend applications
• Knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of code versioning (Git, SVN, etc.)
• Technical leadership and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Python, TypeScript, Nest.js, Prisma, WebSockets
• 5+ years AWS experience
• Terraform, AWS certifications, 12-factor principles
• Docker, ECS
• Passion for design and coding best practices
• DevOps working experience
• Comfort with proactive communication and accepting technical challenges
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments
