SR Data Engineer/DevOps

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with DevOps expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in the cloud. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering skills with infrastructure automation capabilities, contributing to the efficiency and quality of data processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines
• Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring)
• Administer cloud data infrastructure on AWS
• Ensure data quality, security, and availability
• Collaborate with Data Science and Software Engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud environments
• 3+ years of Data Engineer experience or similar role
• 3+ years of SQL proficiency
• 3+ years of proven Python experience
• Solid experience with data processing tools and frameworks (Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, etc.)
• Strong version control expertise (GitHub)
• Practical DevOps experience: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Data security and compliance knowledge
• Experience with production ML tools (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Databricks)
