Role Overview

Senior Android Developer position focused on developing, improving, and releasing the Android App with 100% remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Android development and apply it to app development, improvement, and release cycles
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute effectively within an agile environment
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and peer developers
• Provide and support the implementation of business solutions
• Offer mobile engineering support to the business
• Troubleshoot business and production issues for mobile devices

Required Skills & Experience

• Mobile Development: Experience with Java & Kotlin for Android development
• APIs & Data: Experience with networking, RESTful APIs, and working with JSON and XML
• Version Control: Proficiency with distributed source code version control systems (Git/GitHub)
• Agile Methodology: Experience working within agile development teams
• Android: Experience with Android SDKs and software debugging techniques
• Software Design: Knowledge of design patterns, MVC architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Testing: Experience in unit and integration testing
• Portfolio: Published Android application required
