Senior iOS Engineer to support the growth of Speechify's iOS app and lead key engineering and product decisions. This is a strategic role ideal for someone who thinks about product impact, enjoys fast-paced environments, and has experience building delightful user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead key engineering and product decisions
- Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
- Work within a dedicated product team
- Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
- Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture
Required Experience
- Scaling products: Worked on products that scaled to large user bases
- Product development: Experience taking products from inception to traction
- Customer obsession: Constantly focused on providing the best user experience
- Product thinking: Make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and support design direction
- Speed & focus: Work quickly to ship features while maintaining focus in a high-growth startup
- Technical skills: Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane
- Software principles: SOLID principles, Git and Git strategies
