About the role
Role Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow OT Product Owner to serve as a strategic interface between our customers and implementation teams, driving the development and optimization of ServiceNow solutions for Operational Technology and IT Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Identify and analyze customer requirements in OT and IT, particularly for ServiceNow implementations
- Product Strategy & Development: Develop clear product vision and roadmap for ServiceNow OT modules to address customer needs and market trends
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog; formulate detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Team Coordination: Work closely with implementation teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented and projects stay on schedule and budget
- Quality Assurance: Ensure solution quality through testing, validation, and customer feedback loops
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to keep all parties informed and supportive of product development
- Training & Workshops: Conduct requirements workshops and deliver training to end-users and customers for effective use of implemented OT solutions
- Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously analyze usage of ServiceNow OT modules and develop improvement recommendations for efficiency gains
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Product Owner or comparable role, ideally in Operational Technology or IT Service Management
- Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its applications in OT environments (e.g., Asset Management, Predictive Maintenance, Monitoring)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex processes and communicate effectively
- Project management experience with a solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholder interactions
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with OT systems such as SCADA, DCS, PLCs and their integration into IT systems
- ServiceNow System Administrator, Product Owner (Scrum), or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification
- Technical knowledge in OT/IT integration, API connectivity (REST/SOAP), and JavaScript scripting
