Service Delivery Manager
Role Overview
Lead enterprise IT operations and infrastructure programs supporting federal government agencies in mission-critical environments. This fully remote position involves directing all phases of programs from inception through completion, with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all phases of programs from inception to completion
- Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs or subsystems
- Participate in contract negotiation and contract changes
- Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, specifications, and operating budgets
- Serve as primary customer contact for program activities and lead program review sessions
- Develop new business and expand product lines with customers
- Establish milestones, monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
- Identify program problems and obtain solutions (resource allocation, specification changes)
- Direct work of employees across technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas
- Manage one or more programs of size and complexity; may manage operating/field offices
- Supervise professional and technical personnel
- Prepare manpower staffing plans including skill and labor mix
- Recruit, interview, and hire staff as needed
- Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare financial performance forecasts
- Acquire follow-on business and support new business development through major proposals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience (or commensurate experience)
- Experience managing IT operations
- Ability to lead and mentor technical staff
- EOD (End of Day) clearance required
