Senior Staff DevOps Engineer - MetaMask

Role Overview

As a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer for MetaMask at Consensys, you will join a world-class technical team delivering advanced decentralized applications (Dapps) and supporting development and production infrastructure. You'll drive infrastructure delivery, upgrades, and maintenance with high cybersecurity standards (ISO/SOC2 compliance).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain infrastructure across multiple products and critical applications
• Drive CI/CD code deployment practices and strategies
• Set up, configure, and run development, test, staging, and production infrastructure across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
• Improve DORA metrics across the organization
• Collaborate with developers, SREs, Product Managers, and Customer Success teams
• Empower development teams while planning strategically for platform growth
• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation
• Drive security-first mindset and best practices across infrastructure

Requirements

• 4+ years as a Software Engineer
• 5+ years as an SRE, DevSecOps Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar role
• DevSecOps engineering mindset with strong security expertise
• Proficiency in one or more of: JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript, GoLang, Python
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent documentation and pedagogical practices
• Team collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with blockchain and web3 technologies
• Experience with ISO/SOC2 compliance
• Track record of improving infrastructure metrics
