Role Overview

Join Agicap as a Senior Software Engineer to transform business requirements into simple, robust, and maintainable solutions. You'll work closely with PM and Design teams, balancing exploration with execution while having direct impact on production and helping elevate team standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clarify problems with PM/Design teams, ask the right questions, and understand the business domain
Challenge assumptions and provide technical perspective
Break down ambiguous tasks into deliverable steps
Ship early, measure results, and iterate based on feedback
Design and implement improvements in production: features, refactoring, migrations, and performance optimization
Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, SREs, and support teams

Requirements

Strong backend experience (~7+ years, but seniority measured by judgment and ownership)
C#/.NET expertise is a significant plus (but if not, demonstrated ability to quickly learn new stacks)
Knowledge of appropriate testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E, outside-in approaches) based on risk
Understanding and appreciation for Continuous Delivery principles
Enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams (developers, PM, designers, SREs, support)
