Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer on the Tax Treasury Engineering team building and scaling mission-critical payroll tax systems that process tens of thousands of financial obligations daily and handle billions of dollars in annual transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Engineer: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to build and deliver a top-tier Tax Treasury experience using .Net WorkEngines on a scalable HSCP cloud platform and PostgreSQL
• Agile Partner: Work cross-functionally with other teams, deliver meaningful iterations using Agile methodologies and CI/CD to rapidly release features
• Operational Owner: Build and productionize highly scalable and resilient systems using .Net and PostgreSQL; leverage internal tooling to accelerate development; participate in on-call rotations
• Data Spelunker: Answer business questions and influence decisions using data; enable team members with quantitative and qualitative insights
• Technical Leadership: Often act as technical lead for features or epics and complete work where approach is loosely defined

Requirements

• Strong backend software engineering expertise
• Experience with .Net development
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases
• Ability to craft scalable, modern, and efficient systems
• Collaborative and empathetic contributor
• Mentoring capability for junior developers
• Agile and CI/CD experience

Work Arrangement

Fully remote position within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. Must be available five days per week during designated work hours.
