About The Role

MetaRouter is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to collaborate on technical projects that enhance the core offerings of the MetaRouter Platform. You will design, plan, develop, deploy, and maintain applications using React, MUI, GraphQL, Hasura, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript, working closely with the product team to solve customer problems.

Core Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with product team members to deliver on product requirements while designing scalable and repeatable architecture standards
Conduct code reviews with other engineers to ensure quality design and development practices
Engage in technical strategy to improve the entire lifecycle, sustainability, and UX of products
Lead with a test-driven mentality and build sustainability through pipeline automation tooling
Surface and prioritize technical debt
Participate in Agile methodologies including sprint planning, requirements gathering, and capacity planning
Plan, architect, and build new features on both front-end and back-end applications using React, GraphQL, Hasura, PostgreSQL, and occasionally Golang

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications with a focus on full-stack development
3+ years of experience using React and Node.js or similar backend technology
3+ years of experience using GraphQL or similar data-query language
2+ years of experience with SQL databases and data modeling
Experience building and maintaining a third-party component library based on MUI
Strong test-driven mentality, creative curiosity, and passion for challenging problems
Fail-fast mentality, ability to learn quickly, and comfort working in ambiguous environments

Bonus Experience

Hasura
Analytics.js, Tag Management, or similar client-side user behavior tracking systems
Docker and containerization
Cloud ecosystems like GCP or AWS
Kafka or other streaming message bus systems
Building and maintaining large-scale ETL systems with open-source tooling
